The State of Affairs - 19 December 2020

OH MY GOD YUZUHA IS SO CUTE I COULD DIE

Hello! Here to provide yet another general update~

Firstly, as I mentioned in my last update, I've (slightly, very slightly) more free time now that it's school vacation, so I've been squeezing in time here and there to work on episodes (which you can probably tell since I've managed to release two episodes this month, LOL). I'm still doing part-time jobs, but with schoolwork out of the way for at least a few more weeks or so, I should be able to release another episode by the end of the month.

...Actually, I'm rendering it right now so Episode 46 will be out by next week. Haha. But that's all I can guarantee. I have looked through 47 but whether I can get it out is a different story.

But what I do hope is that I will finish the series by February 2021. On February 2021, it will be 3 years since I started subbing Miracle Tunes, and I feel 3 years on the dot is a perfectly nice place to end.

"Will I be subbing Magimajo Pures?"

I've thought long and hard about it, and the answer is probably no. At least not by myself.
I'm perfectly fine to translate the lines, but after working as a mostly one-person team for so long and given how much harder it is to obtain the RAWs and the subtitle files, it'll definitely take more than 3 years to sub Magimajo Pures. But that's assuming I'm still working as one-person.

If somebody would like to help coordinate the work to get Magimajo Pures subbed, I'm definitely more than willing to spare some time translating and publishing the releases. It keeps me actively using my Japanese and doing a part of the subbing work is definitely less daunting than managing everything by myself. So yeah, I guess this is an official call for karaoke effect guys, timers and people to provide sources and RAWs! (And if that happens...maaaybe I'll consider continuing.)

(And hey, I did do up templates for Magimajo Pures when I did that April Fool's release from way back. So it's really just a matter of getting usable RAWs and subtitles!)

Thanks for reading and I'll see you next week!!
